I created this piece quickly, starting with the center. The baboon has quickly shown itself to me in the drawing, it inspired me to draw him near a pond in the jungle, in full relaxation, in his private little retreat. My boy chose the colors for coloring the work. I did not have a say in the color selection. He appreciated the trust that I gave him, I’m sure.
