The house of Merlin, deep in the woods. At first, I had no preconceived idea. The house just showed itself to me. As if Merlin was trying to talk to me and invite me for tea. Nice little 8×10 piece.

Next up in the roster of animals to illustrate was the parrot. For some reason, my son decided that this parrot was a very slim and slender bird. I believe that it gives it an interesting look.

In the list of things to create that my son has ordered. The next one up was a tiger. So we went on the web and my son picked out an image that he wanted to have the tiger in. He wanted to have the tiger laying on to the ground, and so that’what we did

My son wanted to explore the monkey. So I drew it’s head and Sam drew him swinging on by with a banana in it’s hand.

Sam wanted to explore the owl. I wanted to create the owl facing the spectator so that it would be a more direct contact. Sam wanted him flying, so he made him fly.

My son wanted to create a Bull after the elephant was done. So we went on and created a Big Bull, like he says. He didn’t know where to put the bull though. I suggested the desert and he obliged.

This piece was special ordered by a customer. She wanted to have an elephant that masquerades just like in India.
